About Bunka Gakuen Microsoft 365

Bunka Gakuen has entered into the comprehensive contract for educational institutes (EES: Enrollment for Education Solutions with Microsoft Corporation since April 1st, 2023, and purchased Microsoft 365A3 (former name: Officee 365A3) The Microsoft 365 A3 service as following is available for current students who are currently enrolled all schools within Bunka Gakuen Education Foundation (Gunka Gakuen University / Bunka Fashion Graduate University / Bunka Fashion College / Bunka Institute of Language ) to benefit from. If you are no longer a student at Bunka Gakuen (for instance, you graduated), this benefit will no longer be avaiable for use.

Before you start using Bunka Gakuen Microsoft 365, be sure to read "the Information System Usage Regulations", follow the rules and use the system correctly. We publish "User Password Guidlines" that are easy for users to understand.

This page is for students. Faculty and staff should refer to "User's Guide for Faculty and Staff."

Student Use Privilege Service

Microsoft 365 Apps

You can install the latest version of Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access*, and Publisher*.
*The Mac version does not include Access and Publisher.

Teams

Online team meetings, chats, file sharing, and schedule sharing are available.
Online meetings with people outside Bunka Gakuen who do not have the Microsoft 365 license are also available.

OneDrive for Business

Online storage with 1TB capacity.
It is convenient for sharing and storing large files, but be careful not to cause any security breaches such as incorrect publication settings and information leaks.

Microsoft 365 Apps Installation Requirements

★There are restircted conditions where installation is not permitted. Please be aware of this★

〇　Microsoft 365 Apps (Office Apps including Word and Excel) can only be installed on a device completely owned and used by a current student with a Bunka Gakuen Gmail address.

✕　The Apps cannot be installed on a device that may be used by anyone other than the current Bunka student. (For example, you cannot install the APPs on a PC at home you share with other people.)

Number of devices on which you can install Microsoft 365 Apps

With one account, you can install Microsoft 365 Apps on up to the following number of devices.
・up to 5 Windows PCs or Macs

・up to 5 tablets

・up to 5 smartphones

For example, if you install the Apps on 3 Windows PCs, you can still install it on 2 other Macs, plus up to 5 tablets and 5 smart phones for a total of up to 15 devices.

Microsoft 365 Apps Installation Instructions

★Make sure the checklist and follow the instructions to install the application.★

You do not have to reinstall the apprication if you have already installed the Office on the device you are using. If so, the original application will be overwritten.
※Please note that this is especially important for those who have already bought a perpetual license. Bunka Gakuen Microsoft 365 is available only while you are a student at Bunka Gakuen.
You are not allowed to install the application on a device used by more than one person. Please be sure to use the device used only by the student himself/herself and only after verifying the account.
Outlook email is not available. Please use Bunka Gakuen Gmail instead.
